User guide

This guide walks you step by step through every element of the SAHM platform — from your first look at the interface to mastering the advanced analysis tools. Read it in order the first time, then return to any section from the index whenever you need.

Quick start

Every SAHM page shares one frame: a dark info strip on top, a search bar with chips beneath it, a side navigation menu, then the page content.

  1. The dark strip shows: the platform version, session status, the language switch (AR / EN), your email once signed in, your subscription status, and the date.
  2. Switch languages with one click on AR or EN — the entire page flips direction, text, and charts.
  3. Press the / key anywhere to jump straight to the search box, then type a company ticker or name (Arabic or English).
  4. Not registered yet? The Create account and Sign in buttons at the bottom of the side menu open instant dialogs without leaving the page.

Navigation: the sidebar and its buttons

The sidebar is your navigation hub, and it adapts automatically to your device.

  1. Three navigation tabs: Dashboard, Companies (the full directory), and Workspace (tools and canvases).
  2. On wide screens, the burger button at the top of the menu collapses it into a slim icon rail that gives content more room; another click expands it back.
  3. On mobile, the menu is a slide-in drawer: open it from the burger in the top strip, and close it with the burger inside it, by tapping the dimmed backdrop, or simply by choosing a destination.
  4. Menu footer: the dark/light toggle, a card with your name that opens your account page in one click, then the sign-out button.
  5. The top-bar chips show your current page name, the market and currency, the number of covered companies, and the green Full directory link.

Dashboard

Your daily launchpad: an account summary, the market pulse, and the fastest routes to companies.

  1. The welcome card shows today’s date, coverage stats, and the data’s last-updated time.
  2. The Market pulse card lists the three most recently updated companies with prices — click any row to open its terminal instantly.
  3. The “Your subscription” card shows status, plan, expiry, and remaining days.
  4. The “Jump to any company” box: type a ticker or part of the name to open its terminal directly.
  5. Recently visited takes you back to the companies you analyzed last, in one click.

Company directory and reading tables

The directory is a live table of all covered companies, and its reading rules apply to every table on the platform.

  1. Columns: ticker, company (both names), market, sector, and currency.
  2. The search box above the table filters instantly as you type — by ticker or Arabic/English name, with a sector filter.
  3. Click any row (or the “Open →” button) to open the company analysis terminal.
  4. On narrow screens: drag the table horizontally within its card to see the remaining columns.
  5. A dash (—) means the value is unavailable from the source — we never display fabricated estimates.

Company analysis terminal

Seven tabs progressing from the overview to quantitative models.

  1. Header: ticker, name, sector, currency, and the live price with its last-update time.
  2. 1 Overview: company profile, key indicators, and price charts.
  3. 2 Financial Analysis: complete historical statements with ratios and horizontal/vertical analysis.
  4. 3 Ten-year projections: the statements’ future under assumptions editable line by line.
  5. 4 Valuation inputs: discount and growth assumptions with documented sources — you own and adjust them.
  6. 5 Beta: the stock sensitivity to the index computed from price series, leading to the cost of equity.
  7. 6 Quantitative models: Altman, Beneish, and Piotroski.
  8. 7 News: the company’s latest news from sources.

Analyst tools & workspace

Advanced analysis tools and customizable boards within the subscription.

  1. Quick examples: Compare lines companies up side by side; Relative valuation places your company multiples within the peer distribution; Reverse DCF extracts the growth the market is currently pricing in; Quality breaks the score down component by component.
  2. The free canvas: add widgets (price, ratios, models, a documented metric, notes, watchlist), arrange them freely, and save multiple boards for each research idea.
  3. Modeling Studio: a grid of cells with financial formulas, save with historical versions, and export the model.

Account, subscription, and activation

The “My Account” page is the hub for managing your identity and subscription.

  1. Creating an account: name, email, and password, then Create account — you are signed in immediately.
  2. Activate a subscription with a serial: 1) Complete your purchase to receive the serial. 2) Open the My Account page. 3) Paste the serial in the activation field. 4) Click “Activate” and your subscription status updates instantly.
  3. The subscription card always shows: status, plan, expiry date, and remaining days.
  4. Activating a new serial extends the duration cumulatively.

Shortcuts & tips

Distilled habits that make daily use faster.

  1. The / key jumps to search from anywhere.
  2. The AR · EN switch flips language and direction instantly.
  3. Drag any table horizontally on mobile to see the remaining columns.
  4. A dash (—) means a value is unavailable — no fabricated estimates.
  5. The “Watch” button on a company terminal adds it to your watchlist on the account page.
